Management is best learned by example. For new managers, you and your manager set the objectives for your new roll, I provide the basic tools and formats to get you started.
Our meetings provide the model and will lead you to practice the tools and methods while you are learning and doing your job. You get to see the management process in action and use the management process with your group.
For senior managers, the approach is more like a teaching pro to a golfer. I look at your game and provide coaching, examples and thoughts to improve your effectiveness.
Our Story
My Experience
As long as I can remember, I have always enjoyed teaching and training. Even as a student in Industrial Engineering, I taught labs and worked as a resource assistant to help students.
At age 27, I was appointed President of a small manufacturing company. While not prepared at the time, I was lucky to have both a hard core business mentor and a remarkable owner, that both trained and shaped the first 10 years of my career.
I was also a member of YPO (Young Presidents Organization) for nearly 20 years, which to this day, provides arguably the best ongoing business and life training opportunities available anywhere.
I owned and operated a machine building company company for another 8 years and have hired, trained and developed many successful managers over the years.
